产品详情:

MERS-CoV, also known as NCoV (novel coronavirus) is a positive sense single stranded RNA virus that causes Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). This respiratory virus was first identified in June 2012 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia1, and while most cases have occurred in the Arabian Peninsula, is spread to 27 countries have reported cases since 2012, leading to 858 known deaths due to the infection and related complications1,2,3. MERS-CoV expresses a trimeric spike glycoprotein on the surface the virus, which is comprised of S1 and S2 domains. Within the S1 domain is the receptor binding domain (RBD) that is responsible for binding to the host receptor DPP44, allowing the virus to enter permissive cells. The predicted molecular weight is 150 kDa. The observed molecular weight may differ from predicted due to post translational modifications.
